HER sacred rites of transition 🩸
Sprouted seeds rooting
growing her gifts
of fertile nectar
her salted tears
of self discovery
weaving space
for the changes unfolding
she gently enters
a new phase of her moon
her blooming buds
now
blossoming ripe flowers
serenading a river of red
flowing through the valleys
of her thighs
that were once
hidden in a cave
till she is met
with the karanga
of Hineteiwaiwa
lifeblood forth
generating the new
you have now become the portal
the bridge between worlds
you do not fear the cycles of transition
your trust in wisdom is
absolute
your body a ritual
dancing to the drums
of your Grandmothers voices
who are celebrating
their songs
imbued
of sacred tohi rites
for their kotiro
now immersed kohine
returning to Papatūānuku
Sacred puna is she
Sacred vessel is she
For mother
For daughter
For mokopuna
